About Adam Schlick
For 20 years, Adam Schlick has served the Lake County community with a transparent, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach to governance.
Currently representing Lake County District Two, Schlick was first elected in 2022. He also contributes to the Lake County Forest Preserves, Lake County Stormwater Management, and Lake County Partners Board of Governors.
Before his County Board service, Schlick was a Wauconda Village Board trustee (2017–2022), where he played a key role in major initiatives such as bringing Lake Michigan water to the area, implementing a five-year strategic plan, and supporting local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier, Schlick served as a Wauconda Park District commissioner (2013–2017) and was elected board president in 2015. His leadership helped secure the historic Phil’s Beach property, eliminate long-term debt, and modernize community services.
